Traits
Disconnected Parts (Mutation)
Allows a Biovent to have limbs removed or disconnected but still function as part of the body. The limb must still function as normal and not float around at will.
Example: Floating hand without an arm.
Cerberus (Mutation)
Allows a Biovent to have multiple heads. Extra heads should be placed on or around the shoulders.
Heads may be placed on other parts of the body using Misplaced Limbs.
Fins (Mutation)
Allows a Biovent to develop swimming appendages.
Combined with Mismatched Limbs to make fin arms, legs, or a tail.
Combined with Fauna trait to make an eel, fish, shark, cetacean (whale), porpoise (dolphin), or other such swimming animals to the infection.
Requires Cold Moon Pearl
Seasonal (Mutation)
As the seasons pass things will grow and change.
Seasonal allows a Biovent to change specific traits according to the seasons. This includes antlers or horns that can shed, leaves or plants that wilt and regrow, or less/more fluff.
This trait does not allow anything that would alter the body, body colors, or body markings. That would require Form Change, Hue Shift, or Alternative Markings.
If you are unsure, please ask a staff member!
Gargantuan (Mutation)
Lorge
Allows a Biovent to be much larger than average size. Largest is around 25 feet or 762 centimeters.
Material Parts (Mutation)
Allows a Biovent to change what material it is made of. Their entire uninfected body can be replaced in either sections or entirely but must remain one themed material.
Examples include:
- A full robotic body with wires and gears
- A partial robotic body with normal insides
- A plush body with stuffing
- A mix of plush with flesh/bones and/or natural insides
- A mix of plush with flesh/bones and/or stuffing insides
As long as the theme fits a Biovent can make themselves from just about anything. Unsure? Please ask staff!
This mutation should never make it seem like a Biovent is fully infected nor should the material match with the infection(s).
