Hello everyone! Sorry for the silence the past couple months. Things have been quite busy for all!
The site time is now set to PST! It makes things a little easier for much of the staff and myself in keeping track of when things end and start. Keep this in mind when planning prompt entries and such. Each event will also have a buffer period of two days into the next month for entries. As long as you enter when the prompt is open it can still be approved after that time.

We have some fun events planned and some changes on the way. Now that April is nearing there should be a big special event for each month set and slowly we can add side little fun prompts!

First and foremost, crafting should be fully working. If you experience any bugs or issues please do report them. There may be changes to what is required for each craft down the road!
With crafting MYO eggs will no longer be available to buy from Micheal. Millie on the other hand will carry Odd Eggs for the Halloween event. This change will be made on or around Feb 14^th. MYO eggs and Trait Applicators will be crafted items only. The uncommon, rare, and legendary MYO can be crafted for infection rarity. Applicators will replace all trait rarities and must be used to add any traits besides common. Any Biovent MYO acquired before Feb 14^th will still be able to use all traits according to their rarity and are considered grandfathered in.
Mutation MYO are the only MYO that will remain unaffected. While they cannot be crafted, they will still allow for the use of any traits outside of Mythic.
Mutation traits will be craftable and everyone who currently owns an item will have them changed to the trait applicator. You may have already seen that some have changed!

The main event for February is Affection Day! Though it is called Affection Day, it happens for the whole month. It is an event where two Biovents can pair up to earn an Egg MYO inspired off of the parents. Check the event for details.
As an alternative if you do not want to do the prompt and would like to have a staff member draw the offspring for you, you may check here.
Each staff member will have their own rules and requirements.

Last thing is that GA applications will be put on hold for the month! There will be an announcement when they are open again.

Guest artist Applications are open once again! These will be close on or shortly after the 4th of November 11:59 PM (MST).

Changes are going to be made on how you obtain MYO.
Once implemented and working base MYO will be crafted and all traits will be crafted separately!
Mutation traits will also be crafted using specific item such as the Void Mushroom and Discarded Paw. Currently on site the Mutations can still be obtained through the item and once the crafting is implemented these items will become the crafted material. This means if you currently own something such as a Discarded Paw it will turn into the Multi-Limb Mutation item.


There will be MYO sales for various rarities at times and a chance to acquire each of them from chests and other places.

Happy October all and time to welcome the Aberrant Caravan!


The Aberrant Caravan is a traveling group that holds special mini events as part of their setup.
This year they are welcoming a select few Biovents to share treats with those that come to visit!


A Biovent named Millie is also setting up her own special shop.
She is selling special Biovent eggs you can only obtain while she visits. Alternatively she will also sell a converter to change an egg or Biovent to become infected with any other infection.

Hello everyone, hope you all are doing well and having a wonderful August! Have you been catching lots of fish?
We are getting lots of rain where I live as well as starting to cool off! I’m so excited for fall!

•September is just around the corner and we have some big plans for you all.
Some of these plans are going to take some time so there is no event for the month. However there are a couple of exciting things on the way!

•We are opening guest artist applications!

Please do not include any personal information such as address, full name, phone number, so on. Always be safe and aware and let us know if any of that info is asked. Any application containing this information will be promptly deleted.
The application will close on the 31st of August 11:59 PM (MST) and those that are approved will be notified on the 1st of September.

•We have a list of traits that are going to be released for the spooky season and fall months!
One such trait is ‘Parasite’ which will be a common trait. This will allow a Biovent to either become infected with parasites or allow the Fauna infection to have it’s own sentience! Since this is a common trait, you can add it to an existing Biovent without any applicator! As a special preview, this trait is going to be released today and will be available shortly after this announcement.

•Another big change comes with the ‘Staff’ rarity.
There will no longer be staff only traits and instead will be changed to ‘Legendary’ traits. September you will be able to obtain a ‘Legendary Applicator’ that will allow you to add any one trait legendary trait to a Biovent or a MYO. How will you obtain it? Micheal has been a little hesitant to share the details but rest assured he will let you all know.
There will also be an additional rarity added for traits that are lore-related called ‘Myth’. These will be completely unavailable through normal means and will not be obtainable without a special event.

The rewards will be adjusted according to the submitted art and the random chest reward is only used when submitting art that features two or more gift Biovents! In other words, you get DNA for one Biovent and a chest for each additional Biovent in the same gift art.
