Traits
Multicolored Void (Mutation)
The color of space can be vast and beautiful.
Multicolored Void allows a Biovent to show any number of colors in the Void Infection.
This trait does not allow solid colors or specified markings into the Void Infection nor can it be applied to any other type of infection.
Bioluminescence (Mutation)
Bioluminescence allows a Biovent to have glowing markings or parts usually located under the skin, fur, or keratin.
It does not create any sort of growth or distortion. Additional traits are required for creating things such as glowing spikes.
It can be added to horns and the spikes mutation to make them glow or used to add glowing in the infected area.
Metallic Markings (Mutation)
Glam up with some sparkles and shine!
Metallic Markings allows a Biovent to show metal markings including gold, silver, bronze, steel, glitter, so on.
This trait does not allow for the creation of any sort of growth or distortion like bumps or spikes. It cannot be added into the infection nor replace limbs to have them made of metal or glitter. That is reserved for the Metalic Infection.
It can be added to horns and the spikes mutation for them to have markings of metal or glitter sparkles.
Big Wings (Mutation)
Allows a Biovent to gain large wings. Good for flight and gliding. The design must remain recognizable as a Biovent.
Wings may be insect(butterfly, dragonfly, bee, so on), feathered, bat, or any variation.
If the wings are feathered, the feathers may not cover other parts of the body. To do so requires the Feathers mutation.
Small Wings (Mutation)
Allows a Biovent to gain small wings. Not good for flight but still good for creating small gusts. The design must remain recognizable as a Biovent.
Wings may be insect(butterfly, dragonfly, bee, so on), feathered, bat, or any variation.
If the wings are feathered, the feathers may not cover other parts of the body. To do so requires the Feathers mutation.
Stretched Parts (Mutation)
Allows a Biovent to elongate parts of their body to unusual lengths.
Examples: Long neck, long limbs, extra long tail, long torso, and/or noodle limbs.
Alternative Markings (Mutation)
Allows a Biovent to change their markings to other markings. This mutation only allows for one additional set of markings.
Biovents must keep the same hues and shades for colors. Colors and shades may be removed completely.
To have an alternate color pallet this trait may be paired with the Hue-Shift Mutation.
Hue Shift (Mutation)
Allows a Biovent to swap the color of their markings to an alternate pallet.
They may have an unlimted amount of colors/hues but must always maintain the same markings.
Requires Chromatophores Sample.
Disconnected Parts (Mutation)
Allows a Biovent to have limbs removed or disconnected but still function as part of the body. The limb must still function as normal and not float around at will.
Example: Floating hand without an arm.
Cerberus (Mutation)
Allows a Biovent to have multiple heads. Extra heads should be placed on or around the shoulders.
Heads may be placed on other parts of the body using Misplaced Limbs.
Fins (Mutation)
Allows a Biovent to develop swimming appendages.
Combined with Mismatched Limbs to make fin arms, legs, or a tail.
Combined with Fauna trait to make an eel, fish, shark, cetacean (whale), porpoise (dolphin), or other such swimming animals to the infection.
Requires Cold Moon Pearl
Seasonal (Mutation)
As the seasons pass things will grow and change.
Seasonal allows a Biovent to change specific traits according to the seasons. This includes antlers or horns that can shed, leaves or plants that wilt and regrow, or less/more fluff.
This trait does not allow anything that would alter the body, body colors, or body markings. That would require Form Change, Hue Shift, or Alternative Markings.
